We are family-owned, opening for business in 1985.  We are in the second generation of family ownership.  Our Dad, Al Toomire, saw a vision in the early '80s of storing people's property for a variety of reasons.    Al is no longer with us and now his 3 daughters own the business and the middle daughter, Polly, runs the business.  Here at Urbana Self Storage we offer quality storage and packing supplies.  We are proud of the fact that we keep the complex in tip-top condition, it's clean, secure, lighted, and safe. Combined with exceptional customer service, we will make your experience a breeze.  Our proudest accomplishment over the years is the security and safety we have developed.  We have multiple cameras placed all over the complex and we are monitored and protected by Tattletale portable security devices.  You have to be a current renter to enter the complex. Our electronic gate system only allows renters with assigned key codes to enter.
